Temporary Interim Activities Director

Groton Community Health Care Center is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Temporary Interim Activities Director to lead our resident activities program and create meaningful experiences that enhance the quality of life for those we serve. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working with older adults, building relationships, and bringing creativity and joy into the lives of residents.


The Temporary Interim Activities Director will plan and coordinate engaging daily activities, special events, and programs that reflect the interests, abilities, and preferences of our residents. Responsibilities include supervising activity staff and volunteers, coordinating community and intergenerational programs, collaborating with nursing and other departments, supporting resident rights, and ensuring activities meet applicable regulatory requirements.


The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, organized, and genuinely passionate about making a difference. Experience in activities, recreation, therapeutic recreation, social services, healthcare, or senior services is preferred, with supervisory experience a plus. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, along with the flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and special events. Starting pay is $23.00/hour. Apply today!

Dietary Aide

Whether you're looking for part-time or full-time work, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working alongside a great team. You'll help prepare and serve meals, keep our kitchen clean and organized, assist with meal trays, and most importantly, help make mealtimes enjoyable for our residents.


As a Dietary Aide, you will play an important role in making sure our residents receive nutritious, enjoyable meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, staying busy, and making a difference.


No previous dietary experience? No problem! We are happy to train the right person who brings a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Please note: This position may include scheduled shifts on weekends and/or holidays. Starting pay is $16.00/hour to $18.00/hour. and includes a competitive benefits package. Apply today!
