Groton Community Health Care Center is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Temporary Interim Activities Director to lead our resident activities program and create meaningful experiences that enhance the quality of life for those we serve. The Temporary Interim Activities Director will plan and coordinate engaging daily activities, special events, and programs that reflect the interests, abilities, and preferences of our residents. Responsibilities include supervising activity staff and volunteers, coordinating community and intergenerational programs, collaborating with nursing and other departments, supporting resident rights, and ensuring activities meet applicable regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, organized, and genuinely passionate about making a difference. Experience in activities, recreation, therapeutic recreation, social services, healthcare, or senior services is preferred, with supervisory experience a plus. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, along with the flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and special events. Starting pay is $23.00/hour. Apply today!
