COVID Updates from GCHCC, Inc.

We must inform you that as of 10/10/2023 1 resident tested positive for COVID-19.

 To visit, you will need:

  • Wear all appropriate PPE to visit those in isolation and at your discretion.

 You would still be able to visit in person, but are required to follow all infection control practices.

Lynnette Cook Assistant Director of Nursing/Infection Prevention at Groton Community Health Care Center, and will be available for questions and concerns. 

We will continue to do our best to keep our families involved, engaged, and informed during this time. Resident representatives are able to get updates on their loved ones by calling the facility and asking to speak with the charge nurse on the floor.

As of 8/22/2023 we are no longer required to list the amount of resident and staff Covid positives per New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) on our website.  If you would like information regarding Covid positives please call the facility directly.  If you have other questions those can be directed to Lynnette Cook, RN.

As of 7/21/2023 we have 4 staff and 3 residents that have tested positive for COVID-19.  All contact tracing was performed, and all families were notified within 24hrs.

As of 7/20/2023 we have 2 staff and 3 residents that have tested positive for COVID-19.  All contact tracing was performed, and all families were notified within 24hrs.
